50 Cent Speaks On Being Sued By Rick Ross Baby Moms

Posted on 18 Mar 2010 at 1:35pm

He talks about the lawsuit from Rick Ross’ baby moms.

“That wasn’t me, that was Pimpin’ Curly….a person tries to say, you’ve done a mental harm to them. Then they might want to consider the recordings of Rick Ross saying that she’s an actual call girl. Or the pamphlets that I’m showing in the tape, that’s saying that she’s available. So how distraught is she that a tape went out? They think I bought the tape, I didn’t even buy it.”

Diddy Buying In On Historic European Soccer Team

Diddy Buying In On Historic European Soccer Team

Diddy is a business man, that much we can’t deny. Puffy may now be trying to purchase a football club out of Europe… for the name:

The rapper has expressed an interest in London team Crystal Palace, which has been struggling with financial difficulties. club recently went into administration, which could see it demoted into a lower sports division as British soccer teams which go bankrupt are docked points.

Diddy’s representative has confirmed he wants to invest in a UK club, although he has also been linked to Portsmouth, in south England, which is desperately in need of a backer.

“Diddy was in London meeting football fixers a couple of weeks ago. The finance is in place, he’s just deciding who he thinks he’ll make a bid for. Portsmouth were mentioned but he thought Palace were a better idea,” a source said. “He could cover their debt. He liked the name as well.”

The 40-year-old, real name Sean Combs, is said to be worth around £360 million. He is well known for flashing his cash, recently traveling to Britain from France to throw a £500,000 party to celebrate the release of his new album Last Train to Paris.

He is known to be a fan of expensive Cristal champagne, which costs over £100 a bottle.

Crystal Palace Football Club has been around since 1905. We don’t know if it a smart investment, but it isn’t very hard for things to go awry with English Football.

What’s up with these local MC’s in L.A. who keep disrespecting me? They’re just mad cause I don’t f**k with they wack-ass. They ain’t on my level, why should I waste my time. I don’t even remember ever meeting these clowns or even being in the same room with any of ‘em. They can’t make a name for themselves so they need help from the O/G’s. I refuse the throw’em a life line. f**k’em. It ain’t my job to make nobody famous. And for the record, I ain’t scared of no n***a. Especially, no rappers….seriously people.

Age-ism in rap? Age-ism is everywhere folks. In the work place, in sports and of course in hip-hop. We are a out with the OLD in with the NEW world. But as we go through life we realize NEWER ain’t always better. We find ourselves saying, “Back in the day, bah, bah, bah….” All young MC’s should route for old MC’s to have long careers. If you play us out, what kind of future do you have in hip-hop when you get 40?

Advice for young rappers: You gotta be hot on your block first, then your city, then your state, then your country, then the world. If you can’t make your block notice you. The world is a tall task.

DMX Sentenced To Six Months

DMX Sentenced To Six Months

Posted on 17 Mar 2010 at 11:28am

Rapper DMX appeared in a Phoenix, Arizona courtroom today (March 16) to face charges that he violated his probation last week, by using cocaine.

DMX, 39, was sentenced to six months in prison for failing a drug test last June according to prosecutor. He was also ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.

The troubled rapper could be released in as little as six months, since he’s already been accepted by Dr. Drew Pinsky’s Pasadena Recovery Center, although he’s not expected to be featured on the show.

DMX has been held without bond in the 4th Avenue jail since last Tuesday (March 9), after he was arrested by probate officers for regularly using the drug over the past nine months.

Simmons had been isolated from other inmates since being incarcerated in a Phoenix jail overseen by Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who bills himself the toughest sheriff in America.

Arpaio called for DMX to serve time in prison, because the rapper has been arrested five times in Arizona, on charges ranging from drug possession and identity theft to animal cruelty.

“Rappers seem to go to jail quite frequently,” Arpaio stated. “Why is he treated different, because he’s DMX and made some movies? If he stays in the jail long enough I’ll decide whether or not to put him in the drug prevention education program.”

The rapper spent 90 days in Arpaio’s Phoenix based “Tent City” prison, where inmates are forced to wear pink-stripped prison outfits.

Arpaio himself is under intense scrutiny and faces at least a dozen civil lawsuits for abusing his power against citizens, Hispanics and even Superior Court judges in the state.

Legal problems can’t seem to escape this guy.

Lil Wayne, who’s currently serving a jail sentence in NY’s Riker’s Island, is also facing legal issues in other states. He’s got a few charges around the country, but it appears his drug charge in Arizona is going to be giving him more grief. According to TMZ, Weezy had a court date in Arizona today but because he’s locked up he couldn’t attend. Unfortunately, Yuma County issued a bench warrent for Dwayne’s arrest even though he’s in jail. Stay tuned for more details from this story.

Should a warrant be issued for him even though he cannot appear in court due to his incarceration?

Nas Goes Back To High School To Get His Diploma

Nas Goes Back To High School To Get His Diploma

Posted on 16 Mar 2010 at 12:19pm

Nas was on hand at the Boys and Girls Club’s 43rd annual National Keystone Conference in Pittsburgh to drive home the importance of education and leadership.

The elite lyricist spoke candidly about his personal life, admitting that he never finished high school and regrets the decision despite his years of a success as a musician. He now plans to obtain the diploma, and urged those present not to make the same mistake.

“The reality of it is, you need to keep educating yourself, and I wish I had stayed in school,”

Nas explained.

“Be your own leader.”

Nas, along with Ne-Yo and former NBA player Bob Lanier, were brought in by the Keystone Club, a subgroup within the Boys and Girls Club that emphasizes leadership through community service. The organization’s Vice President of Corporate and Partner Relationships, Frank Sanchez, applauded Nas’ message for highlighting a desire for education in spite of his financial success and popularity.

“This is an incredible message, to have someone who succeeded so much in their life, but there is still a void,” he told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Incarcerated rapper Lil Wayne has reportedly been ordered not to sign any autographs during his time in jail. The hip-hop star was sentenced to a year in prison on weapons possession charges this week and began serving his time at New York’s Rikers Island prison on Monday, March 8.

But officials at the institution have instructed the “Lollipop” hitmaker to avoid publicizing his celebrity status while he is in jail and banned him from signing autographs for other inmates, according to TMZ. A representative for the Correction Officer’s Benevolent Association tells the website the decision was made because “Lil Wayne is not a celebrity in here.”

Neffe Claims Keyshia Cole Is Just As Ghetto As Her . . . Says Money Made Her Worse

Neffe Claims Keyshia Cole Is Just As Ghetto As Her . . . Says Money Made Her Worse

Posted on 13 Mar 2010 at 3:32pm

R&B singer Keyshia Cole’s sister’s Neffe and Elite went on the Atlanta’s Ryan Cameron radio show yesterday talking REAL SIDEWAYS about their celebrity sister.

Here are some EXCERPTS from the interview:

Neffe: You could never cut your blood loose no matter what you are doing on this earth. It runs through our veins. I’m gonna keep it 100. My sister decided to live a different life. It’s not because “oh we ghetto, we belligerent and loud”. We are all cut from the same cloth. If you see us, we out there, it’s just that Keyshia keeps hers behind closed doors.

Elite: When I read it I was shocked. It was hurtful too. I had just come off of tour with Keyshia. We had 3 or 4 tours, I worked for my sister, I was her assistant for 8 months so I worked. I was shocked . Last time we spoke to her we didn’t think it was going to be a public permanent thing. When we last spoke to my sister, we had a family dinner to discuss some family matters and she was a little upset about the whole Frankie and Neffe Show.

Neffe: She is upset about it. She did not embrace the fact that “The Way It Is” was done and they had picked up “Frankie and Neffe”. We didn’t ask for that. We didn’t go to her and say “Sister Sister please can you give us a show. Can you give us a shot. Can we be stars”. We never asked Keyshia to do anything for us. She brought us down here to make our lives better but it didn’t get better, it got worse”

Neffe then continued with her CRAZY TALK. After claiming that her life was actually BETTER when she was living in the HOOD in Oakland than in a NICE COMMUNITY in Atlanta, she said the following:

For the record, I love my sister but you have to understand this is real life this is not a game. She’s a beautiful person. The “Way It Is” didn’t cut us no checks. We didn’t start seeing no money until the Frankie and Neffe show.
