Atlanta’s own Monica threw a private birthday bash for her fiance Rocko Sunday night at Straits and all of Atlanta’s elite came through to wish Rocko a happy birthday.

Here is where its get interesting:

They say Tiny arrived at the party that evening without T.I. and was seated in the private VIP dining room along with Rocko, Monica and their close family and friends.

Rapper Shawty Lo, who everyone knows has been beefing with T.I. for a minute, entered the room with his wife and was seated right next to Tiny.

If you look at the pictures you see how big that table is. Tiny could have easily been seated anywhere else in the room besides right next to T.I.’s arch enemy.

Rest assured that neither Monica nor Rocko had anything to do with the seating arrangements that night.

Anyway, within the hour, word went out to T.I. who arrived not long thereafter (in a white tee) and firmly requested that Tiny rise up and leave with him — which she dutifully did.

They say the informant may have been T.I.’s paid spy who reports back to him with detailed information on every move Tiny makes in his absence. The spy has no visible means of support, yet lives a well-maintained lifestyle.

I’m happy to report that Tiny and T.I. have worked things out, and the royal couple will ring in the New Year tonight at a party in Miami, Florida.

Charles Barkley was arrested on suspicion of DUI early this morning in Arizona.

Barkley was arrested by the Gilbert Police Department at a DUI checkpoint and had his blood tested on scene by a mobile DUI task force.

He was released a short time later and took a taxi home

We have just learned that yesterday rapper Soulja Boy was the victim of a crime.  Soulja boy told fans that men broke into his home with “pistols and AK’s.”

And there’s more. We also received a report that the teenage rapper’s close friend was nearly taken hostage. Soulja Boy told his fans, “6 nig*as kicked in my door and tried to kill me … tried 2 kidnap my boy Jbar.”

At this time, it’s not clear whether anyone was hurt or what exactly was stolen from Soulja Boy.

UPDATE:

Multi-platinum rapper DMX entered a guilty plea today (December 30) before a Phoenix judge on four counts of theft, drug, and animal cruelty charges.

Per the plea agreement, DMX (Earl Simmons) will be sentenced on Friday January 30. The agreement will cover one count of possession of narcotic drugs, a misdemeanor county of animal cruelty, possession of marijuana, and one count of theft.

DMX was extradited back to Phoenix 10 days ago after skipping a scheduled court date.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio offered a $5000 award for the rapper’s capture, which lead to an unidentified Georgia women revealing DMX’s location at producer Scott Storch’s Florida mansion.

The animal cruelty charges are the result of a May 9 raid of the rapper’s Arizona home, where police seized 12 dehydrated and underfed pitbulls.

Although 3 pitbulls were found buried around the property, police declared there was no evidence of dogfighting.

The ID theft charges stem from DMX’s April visit to a Scottsdale, Arizona hospital.

Authorities accused the rapper of giving a someone else’s name and social security number to avoid paying a $7,500 medical tab.

At press time, DMX is still scheduled to release a Hip-Hop album (Walk With Me Now) and gospel album (You’ll Fly With Me Later) in January 2009.

The insider, explained, “Jay Z and Damon Dash owned everything 50-50 – Rocawear, Rocafella, everything … when they separated, everything was split in half. Now 3 years later Dame is broke and Jay Z’s worth 500 million, that just doesn’t make sense.”

And the insider continues, “What businesses has Jay Z been involved in since – restaurants, real estate, and music. Those are probably the three worst business to be in right now … I’m not saying that Jay Z’s broke, but I can tell you one thing – he has nowhere near the amount of money that those magazines are saying he does.”

Beyonce was being considered for an Oscar for Best Song for her work in writing the song Once in a Lifetime from the movie Cadillac Records

Well, there’s a little problem with that. Beyonce may never actually have wrote the song. And that she may have lied about writing it – to get the Oscar nod.

Scott McFaron (the main writer of the song) had said on his youtube page that the song was written before the movie was made. He had his performance of the song up on his youtube page and it is the same one in Cadillac Records, except the vocal arrangements, I guess that’s where Beyonce gave her input.

Scott said that he, Amanda Ghost, and Ian Dench wrote the song. Only three writers can be nominated so Beyonce could be left out in the cold like she was in 2006 with her Dreamgirls song “Listen”.

But maybe Matthew is trying to fix this right now. Just a week ago Scott totally redid his myspace page and deleted his youtube videos. But someone already has reported this to the Academy so we’ll see what happens.

Oscar-award winning singer/actress Jennifer Hudson is coming out of seclusion to honor singing icon Neil Diamond with a Grammy week tribute performance.

According to reports, the entertainer will take the stage February 6 at the MusiCares Person of the Year gala.

Hudson’s performance will mark the first time the Grammy nominee has appeared in public since losing her family members.

On December 2, the singer’s brother-in-law, William Balfour, was charged with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of home invasion.

News of Balfour’s arrest comes as Hudson received four Grammy nominations.

The 51st annual Grammy Awards will be held February 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

In this week’s Sales Wrap, Keyshia Cole rises to No. 2, Jamie Foxx’s intuition leads him to No. 3 and Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em shows signs of a sophomore jinx.

R&B superstar Keyshia Cole’s A Different Me led the way against her urban competition landing at No. 2. According to Nielsen Soundscan, Cole’s third solo release scanned 322,100 copies in its first week.

Academy Award winning singer Jamie Foxx trailed close behind as Intuition nabbed No. 3 on the charts. Foxx’s latest disc moved an impressive 265,400 units after seven days in stores.

Grammy winning singer Beyonce’s I Am…Sasha Fierce slid a couple spots to No. 5 this week selling a total of 195,400 copies. After just over a month of availability, her third album has sold a total of 1,247,900 scanned discs.

Taking a slight five-position dip this week is Kanye West’s 808s & Heartbreak, which landed at No. 11 with 138,900 records sold. Coming closer to a milli, Mr. West’s fourth disc stands at 858,800 units sold after a month in stores.

Respected soul singer Anthony Hamilton marked his return into fans’ hands as The Point Of It All debuted at No. 12. The North Carolina-bred performer’s latest offering pushed 133,600 copies its’ opening week.

Southern rap star Plies debuted this week as Da REAList was able to reach No. 14 on the charts. His third solo project was moved 114,700 after seven days in stores.

I have a friend of a friend of a friend that works with Ludacris and they hippped me to something that might go down this weekend. There is a concert coming out over the weekend that features T.I., Jeezy, Jim Jones and Nina Sky. Well, I am hearing T.I. is going to have an incredible set, but Ludacris is going to get all the attention. I am hearing Luda is bringing out Nas, Jadakiss, and Jay-Z. The strange thing is that Jim Jones is on the stage the set prior to Luda. Both nas and Jay have an ongoing tiff with J.J. Now, with this whole fight thing at the Louie store in NYC, I am hearing something is about to brew. I heard Jay is going to “address some things” at the concert and needs like five minutes.

An ALL OUT war appears to have just broke out in New York between rapper Jim Jones and rival Jay Z. And Jim Jones won the first battle.

For weeks now popular NYC based rapper Jim Jones has been taking verbal swipes against Jay Z. But Monday, things went from verbal to physical – and unfortunately R&B singer Ne-Yo got caught up in it.

Things came to a head on Monday at NYC’s ultra-luxurious Louis Vuitton store on Fifth Avenue. Jim Jones and a group of men ran into Jay Z’s best friend Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith and R&B singer Ne-Yo while doing some Christmas shopping.

Then, according to a witness, one of Jimmy’s pals made a disparaging comment about Jay Z to Ty Ty. And when the 5 foot 4 Ty Ty responded – things really popped off.

The insider explained, “It was total chaos – Ty Ty got stomped out right there in the store – I though they were going to kill him. And when Ne-Yo tried to break it up, he got stomped too … someone had their foot on Ne-Yo’s neck!!!”

No word on the extent of injuries that either man faced. But our source claims that neither appeared to suffer serious injuries.

Representatives for Jay Z and Jim Jones were not available for comment at the time of publication.

According to Karrine “Superhead” Steffans, married NBA player Jermaine O’Neal from the Toronto Raptors slapped her on the behind.

As Superhead puts it – “He disrespected his wife, his entire family … and he disrespected MY BODY.”

MTV is hurting really bad right now. Declining viewership among its core audience of 12- to 34-year-olds, is causing the once powerful music network to revamp its image and apparently the premise of Fiddy’s show is what the company wants to steer away from.

“Our new shows will feature themes of affirmation and accomplishment,” says Brian Graden, president of entertainment at MTV Networks music channels and president of Logo. “Our shows are going to focus less on loud and silly hooks and more on young people proving themselves. Canadian(Ontario)-born R&B singer Keisha Chante has been confirmed to play Aaliyah in a much-anticipated biopic set for release next year.

According to the National Post, the ink is dry on Chante’s contract to portray the R&B singer in the as-yet-titled biopic.

Chronicling the life of the R&B star that brought magic to both the screen and the studio, Aaliyah’s biopic will attempt to cover the singer’s journey up to her untimely death in 2001.

Chante, a successful R&B singer who released “2U” in 2006, will also star in a new television series entitled “Soul,” set to hit the ‘small screen’ early 2009.

The “Get To Know You” singer is also plotting the release of her third studio album due next year.

While a release date has not been set, the Aaliyah biopic is rumored to be hitting theaters mid-2009.

There’s been tons of speculation as to which artists will be performing at the inauguration of President-elect Barack Obama. But we can tell you for sure which artist WON’T!!

A well placed insider who claims that the Obama camp has asked Jay Z not to attend the Inauguration. The insider explained,

“Some of Jay Z’s lyrics make him a lightnig rod for criticism, that’s not what Barack Obama needs at the start of his administration … Too many people are looking for reasons to criticize Obama already, why give them more ammunition.”

Jermaine Dupri is going to have to find some new 40+ year old cakes to palm because Janet Jackson’s are now off limits:

Janet Jackson has split up with her long-term record producer boyfriend Jermaine Dupri, according to tabloid reports.

The couple has been an item for four years, and was only recently rumored to be planning to marry and start a family together.

However the National Enquirer claims Jackson and Dupri began battling over the failure of her recent tour, which he managed, and which ended with a string of canceled concerts because of illness and reports of poor ticket sales.

And sources tell the tabloid the 36-year-old has moved out of the superstar’s Los Angeles home, and they have agreed to spend time apart. The insider says, “Janet and Jermaine finally hit a wall. They were fighting over his management of her career. In the end, she decided to make a break.”

Representatives for the two have yet to comment on the reports.

DMX is preparing to travel during the holiday season — to another jail.

His home away from home is currently the Miami-Dade County Jail, but DMX’s lawyer Bradford Cohen confirms the rapper is being extradited to Maricopa County Jail in Arizona at this very moment.

Earlier this month, FBI agents captured the rapper on an island off Miami Beach over a bench warrant issued for a missed a court appearance.

DMX also faces drug, identity theft and animal cruelty charges in Arizona, however — and now he’s going to have to face the music in the desert, too.

BTW, we’re told Arizona cops plan to put X in pink handcuffs as a belated B-day present.

FUNNYMAN EDDIE MURPHY will play The Riddler in the next Batman movie.

The Beverly Hills Cop star, 47, has been signed up by British director CHRISTOPHER NOLAN to reprise the role played by JIM CARREY in 1995’s Batman Forever.

The surprise move follows speculation linking Pirates of the Caribbean star JOHNNY DEPP to the part.

I heard a crazy rumor from somebody that seems to know. I know some people that know some people and they insist that Ray and Whit are playing the paps for publicity. According to this rumor, Ray and Whitney are no couple and never have been. In rumor (as opposed to “in fact”), I heard that one of Ray’s artists and close friends under his Knockout label is actually Whitney’s goddaughter. That is how they met and how they found themselves in this bizarre situation. Basically the whole reason they are seen together is so the media will talk about it every time, since when they are alone, nobody really cares too much. That’s the rumor. On top of that, Perez Hilton even charged that Ray and Whit called their own paps to take pics of them coming off that plane. SMH.

It’s doubtful he’ll be singing about this one. Akon is pleading guilty to harassment after he tossed a fan off stage at a concert last summer.

The good news for him is that he doesn’t have to serve any jail time, as long he performs 65 hours of community service and pays a $250 fine.

Akon declined comment as he left court.

In case you forgot, the singer and producer was accused of picking up a teenage boy and throwing him off the stage during a June 2007 concert at a minor league baseball stadium near Poughkeepsie. Another concertgoer said she suffered a concussion when the teen landed on her.

Brandy went on the Shade 45 morning show recently and was grilled by Angie Yee on everything from her brother C Dub to passing out from exhaustion on the set of Moesha.  The interview sort’ve turned left after she was asked about her half brother as you can tell she became tensed and immediately snapped back “Who? I only have one brother. Ray J.  I don’t know this guy”.  She then questioned Angie Yee about her choice in bringing up the past after she was questioned about her exhaustion on Moesha.

Now, I don’t blame Brandy for not wanting to talk about C Dub as she hasn’t met him and he clearly is trying to use the family name to launch his rap career. He is most definitely a Norwood illegitimate child VIEW STORY BELOW but when I had the chance to speak with him, I had to keep asking him “Why would you make a song threatening to kill Ray J and then expect them to want to meet you? It doesn’t make sense. His responses where “oh, I was just playing..Oh I was just mad at the time because of the broken promises” and so on.  He even said that he met Brandy at a mall signing and looked her dead in her eye but never told her that he was her “real brother”. The interview  was so all over the place that I didn’t even bother to publish it.

I can see where Angie was coming from too as she didn’t want to ask the same questions about the accident etc and she wanted to make the interview more interesting.

50 Cent was recently interviewed by ESPN.com about his latest video game, Blood On The Sand. The G-Unit head honcho spoke about whether or not there was any truth to rumors that he and professional boxer Floyd Mayweather got into a fight.

“Yeah, we got into a little scrap, a little boxing match,” said 50. “Well, it wasn’t really much of a boxing match because he hit me in the back of my ear. He’s so fast, he’s just so fast. The thing about it is, everyone who is around him works for him. And for a second, he tried to talk to me like I was one of the people working for him. Rapper 50 Cent is speaking out months later on the circumstances leading up to the fire of his Long Island home, which was destroyed by the blaze, and is hinting at his son’s mother being involved.

During an upcoming interview with Access Hollywood‘s TV One Access, the G-Unit frontman revealed his home went up in flames, just days after his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins was ordered to leave the residence.

“The courts told her she had to leave,” 50 Cent told TV One Access correspondent Quddus. “It’s kind of more like, ‘If I can’t have you, you can’t have it.’” When asked if Tompkins set the fire in response to the order, the rapper declined to specifically name the single mother and deliberately became vague.

“Well, I don’t want to say that… don’t try to make me say something I don’t want to say,” 50 Cent stated. “But the circumstances to it might seem that way.”

The TV One Access interview is the latest development in the aftermath of the home’s destruction, which occurred in May.

According to reports, Tompkins and 50 Cent’s son, Marquise, were among the six people taken to a hospital and later released, after suffering smoke inhalation following the incident.

In a lawsuit filed earlier this year against the rapper, Tompkins claimed the rap star had promised her a house more than a decade ago. A war of words resulted from the suit as Tompkins’ lawyer Paul Catsandonis alluded to an “extremely dangerous incident” between “the parties in question” in his Manhattan office, just days before the fire. Catsandonis further noted that 50 Cent signed an agreement that would give Tompkins half of all his earnings as a Hip-Hop superstar, reports AllHipHop.com.

Michael Jackson may be legitimately sick and not just faking it to get out of testifying in court, according to In Touch. The mag claims Jackson is gravely ill and suffers from an illness called Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency, which is so severe that he needs a lung transplant. However he also has uncontrolled gastrointestinal bleeding, which is what might ultimately kill him. He’s also so weak that he may not be able to undergo a transplant. Jackson is said to only have five percent of his vision in his left eye.

…award-winning investigative journalist Ian Halperin tells In Touch that he believes that the King of Pop is fighting for is life. “Michael has a very severe lung condition called Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency,” Halperin, a New York Times best-selling author, tells In Touch exclusively. “He’s had it for years but it’s gotten worse. He needs a lung transplant but may be too weak to go through with it. He also has emphysema and chronic gastrointestinal bleeding, which his doctors have had a lot of trouble stopping. It’s the bleeding that is the most problematic part. It could kill him.”

Because this genetic disease is so rare – Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency affects just 1 in 5,000 Americans – it’s been difficult to treat, says Halperin. “For years, Michael has been working with his own doctors to make sure his condition doesn’t progress. He has been on many medications that have stabilized him.” But as the disease has progressed, Halperin says that the pop star’s quality of life has diminished. “He can barely speak,” says Halperin. “Also, the vision in his left eye is 95 percent gone.”

According to Wikipedia, “Severe A1A deficiency causes emphysema and/or COPD … various liver diseases in a minority of children and adults. Even if he were gravely ill, it’s hard to tell with him because he dresses and behaves so oddly that most people tend to ignore any new unusual things with him.

Hip-Hop mogul Diddy has become the latest artist to confirm his attendance at Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration next month.

According to Access Hollywood, the Bad Boy CEO will continue his support of the new president-elect revealing intentions for traveling to Washington, DC to attend the historic event.

“If I don’t have the best seat in the house, I’ll be alright,” Diddy told AH. “As long as I am there and around the people and able to witness my fellow Americans.”

Many celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Beyonce Knowles to Young Jeezy have confirmed their attendance. SOHH recently spoke with Young Jeezy who revealed he would also be present.

Producer-turned-recording executive Jermaine Dupri has launched legal battle against a nightclub and a promoter in his hometown of Atlanta over the unauthorized use of his name, court documents show.

The multi-platinum Grammy Award winner filed suit on Tuesday (December 9) against popular nightclub Pure Atlanta and one of the individuals behind the club’s weekly Industry Thursdays event.

Two days prior to the November 20 installment of Industry Thursdays, JD’s manager Nick Leo received a request from the defendants Elite Entertainment Group, LLC and its registered agent Binyam Yayine asking that the entertainer make an appearance at the club on that particular night.

Leo declined, explaining that JD would be out of the country, the lawsuit alleges.

Despite that information, Pure Atlanta proceeded to promote an “All Black Affair” to be hosted by Jermaine Dupri on November 20.

The event was advertised through the use of physically distributed flyers and various internet postings and radio ads using Dupri’s name and likeness, which his lawyers contend was done “to attract attendance and, on information and belief, paid sponsor or sponsors beneficial to Defendants.”

In an excerpt from the new tell-all book “Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth, and Nothing But the Truth,” the singer says that he used to think he was Al Pacino’s iconic “Scarface” movie character Tony Montana when snorting cocaine.

Brown, who divorced Whitney Houston in 2007 after 15 years of marriage, admits that at the height of his habit, he mirrored the “Scarface” anti-hero, who snorts mountains of the drug on his office desk and has the motto “The World Is Yours.”

The TV series “A Raisin in the Sun,” starring Sean “Diddy” Combs, has been nominated for a Golden Globe award.

Nominated for “Best Mini Series or Motion Picture Made For Television,” the Bad Boy CEO has spoken on the excitement.

“I really did not think it could get any better,” Diddy said in a statement. “First, an Emmy nomination and now a Golden Globe — this is an incredible honor. A dream come true.”

On the heels of her announcement of her upcoming European tour, R&B superstar Beyonce has received a nomination for a Golden Globe award.

Beyonce has also received a Golden Globe nomination for next month’s annual ceremony. She will compete against competitors like Bruce Springsteen in the “Best Original Song” category for co-writing the record “Once in a Lifetime” from Cadillac Records, according to Billboard.

T-Boz From TLC, is about to lose a Georgia house after failing to PAY her mortgage payments.

We’ve learned a five-bedroom, nearly 10,000-sq. ft. house owned by T-Boz (real name: Tionne Watkins-Rolison) is about to go on the auction block in January 2009. According to public records, she’s defaulted on the original principal of her mortgage (around $530K), and so now the state is taking it.

T-Boz wasn’t immediately available for comment.

The auction gets underway in Beverly Hills on April 21 and wraps up four days later, with a portion of the proceeds going to a charity aimed at helping musicians in need.

Among the most sought after lots up for grabs are a white glove first seen in the video for Jackson’s 1983 hit “Billie Jean.”

The wrought iron gates that once adorned the entrance to the pop star’s sprawling Neverland Ranch near Santa Barbara in California are also certain to arouse huge interest.

Jackson has not lived at the ranch since he was cleared of child molestation charges at his 2005 trial. Prosecutors alleged Jackson abused children at Neverland, which in its heyday feature a funfair and a zoo.

She doesn’t even think enough of the acting profession to take classes and learn how to act. Instead, ego and exposure seems to be driving her to land as many acting roles as she possibly can.

Singers, Frank Sinatra, Diana Ross and Cher took the craft seriously and their hard work and diligence paid off with Oscar wins or Oscar nominations.

It’s inconceivable to wrap your mind around Beyonce’s upcoming portrayals of Eartha Kitt and “Wonder Woman.”

Usher was fresh off the success of “Confessions,” when he was cast in the film, “In The Mix,” it was a major flop.

Hopefully, Hollywood executives will begin to realize that these non-actors bring no credibility to the screen and they don’t generate box office dollars with their lack of talent.

NeNe Leakes, the breakout star of the hit Bravo reality show “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is no longer living at the pricey Duluth five-bedroom residence shown on the series.

According to Darryl Pierce, the broker for the 5,000-square-foot home at 1765 Silvermere Court in Duluth, NeNe and her husband, Gregory Leakes, left in November after Winwood Properties filed an eviction notice in September.

The notice, filed Sept. 24 with the Magistrate Court of Gwinnett County, said Greg Leakes owed $6,240 in past due rent. “The tenant said they would move by Sept. 14th because they could no longer afford the house,” the notice said.

The owner of the home, Kajani Shenaz Ali, lives overseas, Pierce said. Online records show the home in the gated community of Stonebrier at Sugarloaf, was purchased for $829,400 in September 2006. Pierce said the Leakeses moved into the home shortly after it was built in 2006.

NeNe Leakes, in a series of e-mails Tuesday, would not say where she is living now. “It’s none of your business,” she wrote. But she noted that they “are financial able and stable to live where ever we feel fits.”

NeNe, 41, wrote that the eviction notice does not have her name on it, adding “you don’t know my relationship with Greg so be careful what you report!”

The Duluth home, she wrote in an e-mail late last week, “was a lease purchase corporate deal with Greg & his company. Things didn’t work out between the two of them so they did what they had to do and he did what he had to do.”

On Tuesday, she wrote, “If we rent, lease purchase or buy, money is still coming out of my pocket. So who’s

business is that??”

Gregory, 54, couldn’t be reached for comment. The TV show called him a real estate investor. The only business the AJC could find under his name in Georgia is called Advantage Move LLC. The phone number listed for Advantage Move has been disconnected.

Police arrested a man Monday in connection with the killing of three relatives of singer-actress Jennifer Hudson, a police spokesman said.
William Balfour, 27, was first detained for questioning on October 24, the day Hudson’s mother and brother were found shot to death. Authorities said at the time that they were holding Balfour for an unspecified parole violation.

Hudson’s mother, Darnell Donerson, and brother, Jason Hudson, were found shot to death in their South Side Chicago home. The body of her nephew, 7-year-old Julian King, was found three days later in an abandoned SUV on Chicago’s West Side.

Police later found a handgun near the vehicle.

Detectives served arrest warrants on Balfour on Monday afternoon, said Chicago police spokeswoman Monique Bond.

Balfour was transferred from the Statesville Correctional Center to the custody of detectives in the case, she said, and he is awaiting formal charges on three counts of murder.

Balfour is the estranged husband of the singer’s sister, Julia Hudson, and the stepfather of Julian King.

According to the Illinois Department of Corrections, Balfour spent nearly seven years in prison for attempted murder, vehicular hijacking and possessing a stolen vehicle. He was free on parole at the time of the shootings.

Hudson won a best supporting actress Oscar for her portrayal of Effie in the film version of the Broadway musical “Dreamgirls.” She competed on the third season of the singing competition “American Idol” in 2004, becoming one of the top seven contestants before being eliminated from the contest.

Michele Davis-Balfour, Balfour’s mother, had defended her son publicly before the arrest, saying her son had nothing to do with the slayings.

“If William did do this, right, in no means am I going to sugarcoat him and say my son didn’t do it,” she said. “I know my son didn’t do this.”

Pressed about her son’s whereabouts around the time of the slayings, Davis-Balfour said, “My son’s alibi was one of his girlfriends, one of the girls he is dating.”

She said that after her son got out of prison, he was trying to improve his life by working at a sandwich shop. She also said he obtained his GED in prison by studying horticulture.
