October 24, 2008. MediaTakeOut.com just caught wind that rapper Lil Boosie – popular for making the hit song Wipe Me Down was arrested.

Here’s how WBRZ News 2 Louisiana is reporting it:

Baton Rouge rapper Torrance Hatch, also known as Lil Boosie, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly possessing marijuana and a firearm as well as running from law enforcement.

East Baton Rouge Parish deputies arrested Hatch at 4 p.m. after Hatch pulled up next to the deputies at Government Street and Interstate 10, an arrest warrant says.

The deputies smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the rapper’s white Dodge Challenger, the warrant says.

When the deputies approached the vehicle, Hatch, 25, refused to get out and attempted to drive away.

October 24, 2008. MediaTakeOut.com told you yesterday that R&B singer Lyfe Jennings was arrested after shooting a gun off in the street after looking for his baby’s mother at the home of another man. Well now we’ve learned that Joy Bounds, Lyfe’s baby mother, took out a temporary restraining order against him.

And under the terms of the temporary order, MediaTakeOut.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that Lyfe is not allowed near either Joy or their children together for 30 days.

Sad … but given how things went down … it sounds necessary.

Lyfe is now out on bond. But under the terms of his release, MediaTakeOut.com has learned that Lyfe is required to remain sober. And he’s precluded from visiting Joy or the man whom Joy is reportedly seeing now.
