OBAMA ANNOUNCES PERFORMERS FOR HIS INAUGURATION!!!

Barack Obama sure knows how to draw an A-list crowd!The Presidential Inaugural Committee announced Monday that Sunday’s kick-off event, We Are One: The Obama Inaugural Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial, will feature performances from Beyonce, Sheryl Crow, and Bruce Springsteen.

Also scheduled to hit the stage are Mary J. Blige, Bono, Garth Brooks, Josh Groban, John Legend, John Mellencamp, Usher Raymond IV, Shakira, James Taylor, will.i.a.m, Stevie Wonder, Renee Fleming, Herbie Hancock, Heather Headley and Jennifer Nettles.

Jamie Foxx, Martin Luther King III, Queen Latifah and Denzel Washington will read historical passages, while Reverend V. Gene Robinson will give the invocation.

“Our intention is to root the event in history, celebrating the moments when our nation has united to face great challenges and prevail,” George Stevens Jr., the gala’s executive producer, said in a statement. “We will combine historical readings by prominent actors with music from an array of the greatest stars of today.”

The event, at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., is free to the public and will be broadcast from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. EST by HBO on Sunday, Jan. 18.
